AID & Development Africa Summit 2017

The 2nd annual Aid & Development Africa Summit will take place 28 February – 1 March 2017 at the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya with an aim to explore how technological innovations and best practice can improve aid delivery and development strategy in Sub-Saharan East Africa.

Brice Rambaud, Internews Regional Director for Sub-Saharan Africa, will be moderating a panel titled, Effective Partnerships for Aid & Development Programmes in East Africa.

During the two-day summit, over 300 international and regional experts from regional governments, UN agencies, NGOs, development banks, civil society organisations and the private sector will gather to discuss health & WASH innovations, development financing, best practice in humanitarian logistics and emergency response, latest developments in ICT & data, climate-resilient agriculture, infrastructure and camp management.

The Aid & Development Africa Summit 2017 presents a unique platform for cross-sector engagement and knowledge exchange based on structured networking and interactive debates that influence regional development and humanitarian goals in Sub-Saharan East Africa.
