Kat Duffy is the Vice President for Global Technology Programs at Internews.

She previously served as the Labs Director at the Sunlight Foundation, where she guided the development of technological tools to make government and politics more accountable and transparent.

Prior to joining Sunlight, Kat served as a Senior Programmatic Strategist in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor at the U.S. Department of State, where she oversaw foreign assistance programs aimed at promoting transparency, independent media, democratic participation, electoral reform, governmental accountability and the free flow of information around the world.
