Internews is excited to share that our colleagues, Isabelle Schläpfer and Rosie Parkyn, have contributed a powerful chapter to the new book Don’t Shoot the Journalists, edited by Peter Laufer and published by Anthem Press.

Their essay, “Flight and Fight—Supporting Exiled Media to Survive and Sustain,” explores the urgent realities faced by journalists forced into exile and the support structures that can help them continue their essential work. Drawing on interviews with 25 media outlets, they offer rare insight into the resilience and innovation of journalists reporting under threat.
