Evidence for Action: Meaningful Engagement with Affected Communities - from informants to partners
The webinar offers practitioners an opportunity to learn from the reflections and good practices presented, as well as to contribute to the further refinement of the recommendations made during the “Evidence for Action" work stream of the 2019 UNHCR Annual Consultations with NGOs hosted in Geneva.
The speakers will present good practices and recommendations for how to ensure principled, collaborative and effective generation and use of evidence for collective responses to displacement situations - specifically in relation to meaningful collaboration with affected communities – from defining information needs and designing information management systems, to data collection, analysis and use.
- Mia Marzotto, Senior Advocacy Officer, Translators Without Borders
- Stijn Aelbers, Senior Humanitarian Advisor, Internews
- Kathrine Starup, Global Protection Advisor, Danish Refugee Council
The webinar is organised by the Danish Refugee Council. In case of questions, please contact Protection Capacity Building Advisor Rikke Enggaard Olsen (firstname.lastname@example.org).
