At an event in London, Internews is showcasing its work from around the world, launching a new campaign, and discussing intelligent solutions to protecting and reporting the truth.

A woman and a student look through the viewer of a video cameraInternews has been working for 35 years to support the truth and those who report it. We work through local partnerships in over 50 countries to design and deliver solutions which ensure people and communities can access accurate and reliable news and information. In an era of diminished trust in media, evaporation of local news outlets, and where only one in seven people live in a country with a free media, this work is more important than ever.

Featured speakers are:

  • Eva Simpson, Journalist & Editor
  • Sir Martyn Lewis CBE, Former TV news anchor, Chair of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service
