In the United States, we work on community-based media projects that expand two-way conversations between audiences and media producers. Internews supports the Listening Post Collective which provides journalists, newsroom leaders, and non-profits tools and advice to create meaningful conversations with their communities.
It isn’t audiences that need to be more engaged, it’s newsrooms.
