Funded by the U.S. government through USAID, CEPPS — Consortium for Elections and Political Process Strengthening (CEPPS), represented by IRI, NDI, IFES, Search for Common Ground, and Internews — kicked off a new elections support project.
The new Sierra Leone Elections Dialogue Series (SLEDS) project will help promote issue-based public dialogue and support local media during the 2018 elections and post-elections period.
On Wednesday, January 24th, CEPPS, held a series of discussions in central Freetown. The consortium organized two round tables for key Sierra Leonean media institutions and a broad cross section of the CSO community, representing women, youth, and people with disabilities.
