Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine are neighbors who have all lost significant territory during the various conflicts that erupted after the collapse of the Soviet Union. These are countries in which conflicts, even frozen ones, still hang like a Sword of Damocles over those people who have been unable to go back to the lives they lived before hostilities broke out.
This video is part of a series of multimedia works that Transitions will publish in the coming months, the results of an Internews cross-border project called "Neighbors."
The project is implemented by the Independent Journalism Center (Moldova), Internews Ukraine, and Internews Georgia, in partnership with the Internews Network.
