South Sudan Humanitarian e_Bulletin

After five years of conflict, nearly half a million people still reside within the UN Protection of Civilian sites and refugee settlements in South Sudan. In these settlements Internews provides lifesaving reliable information in a place where rumours are rife and conventional media is not able to reach. As a part of this work, Internews produces weekly bulletins to disseminate feedback data from the PoC and refugee camps where our Humanitarian Information Service (HIS) project operates.

They are currently published from four locations; Bentiu, Malakal, Jamjang and Juba.

Internews also provides advisory services on Community Engagement (CCE) and Communicating with Communities (CwC), with both approaches supporting our training and advocacy that highlights the critical importance of communication with communities in promoting accountability within the humanitarian sector.
