The Illuminating New Solutions and Programmatic Innovations for Resilient Spaces (INSPIRES) global program, an initiative funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Internews and the seven-member INSPIRES consortium, is pleased to invite you to participate in a virtual event on civil society resiliency and civic space, focusing on learning and collaboration opportunities in Serbia.

This event – Linking Civil Society Vulnerabilities and External Threats: Experiences in Serbia – will feature civil society organizations, INGO representatives, and researchers that work on different strategies to combat restrictions on civic space in Serbia.  The presentations and interactive discussions will highlight insights and opportunities for collaboration to protect civic space in Serbia and around the world, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event will take place on December 3 at 14:00-16:00 CET / 8:00-10:00 ET and will feature speakers and panelists from USAID, Internews, International Center for Not-for-Profit Law, Duke University, European Center for Not-for-Profit Law, Civic Initiatives, Centar E8, and Catalyst Balkans.
