Meera Selva, Director, Journalist Fellowship Programme, Reuters Institute and Jodie Ginsberg, Chief Executive, Internews Europe

At this event from the Reuters Institute,  Meera Selva, director of the Journalism Fellowship at the RISJ, will chair a discussion on journalism under pressure around the world. She is the author of a report on press freedom in central and eastern Europe and of a recent piece on the threats to press freedom in the pandemic.

Meera will be joined by Jodie Ginsberg, Chief Executive of Internews Europe, and former Chief Executive of Index on Censorship. Jodie began her career at Thomson Reuters and sits on the global council of freedom of expression network IFEX and the board of the Trust for The Bureau of Investigative Journalism.
