Karla Castillo is a Tijuana based radio and print reporter. She collaborates with Internews on the El Migrante project, creating a weekly news bulletin targeting information needs of migrants at Baja California’s border with the US. Castillo has worked for a variety of Mexican media outlets including the weekly news magazine Zeta, the daily paper La Jornada, and Newsweek in Spanish. Her reporting focus includes civil rights, migration and regional politics.
