Two journalists from Internews partner Eye Radio in Juba, South Sudan lived at their radio station for four months to ensure information continued to flow to listeners during the pandemic. Read more
Featured Grantee: Mobilizing a Network of Women to Get COVID-19 Information to Rural Villages
A grantee of Internews’ Rapid Response Fund in the Democratic Republic of the Congo works with women’s groups, originally established to fight sexual violence, to educate citizens about coronavirus prevention. The grant supported production of COVID-related radio programming and distribution of radios to listening groups, spreading information among hard-to-reach rural families. Read more
