CT-Scan

CT or computer tomography is a medical scanning technique in which a narrow beam of x-rays is rotated around the body to get images from inside the body.

The scan is processed by a computer to generate cross-sectional images, or tomographic images, of the body. These images contain more detailed information than conventional x-rays. While CT-scans are very useful in highlighting damage to the lungs, they cannot diagnose whether a patient has been infected with the novel coronavirus.
