The Illuminating New Solutions and Programmatic Innovations for Resilient Spaces (INSPIRES) global program, an initiative funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Internews and the seven-member INSPIRES consortium, is pleased to invite you to participate in a two-part virtual event on civil society resiliency and civic space, focusing on learning and collaboration opportunities from Resiliency Plus programming led by PartnersGlobal.

The first event – Civil Society Vulnerabilities: Lessons from Resiliency Plus – will feature coaches, civil society organizations, and researchers that have been part of the first cohort of Resiliency Plus programming to highlight early lessons and insights regarding the vulnerabilities that CSOs face as civic space contracts around the world, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The interactive event will take place on October 28 at 9:00-11:00 AM ET and will feature speakers and panelists from USAID, PartnersGlobal, Internews, Results for Development, and partner civil society organizations and coaches from the first Resiliency Plus cohort.

A second event – highlighting the experience of civic space changes and civil society-led responses in Serbia during the COVID-19 pandemic – will be held in November, date and time to be confirmed.
