Kaizar Campwala is the co-founder of Slow Talk, a technology platform that aims to improve discourse and create connection through rich, guided, small-group conversation. He was previously Vice President, Business Operations at the Walt Disney Company, where he led Disney’s streaming news initiatives, including ABC News Live and the news vertical on Hulu.
Kaizar joined Disney from Al Jazeera, where he led Al Jazeera’s entry into podcasting as Entrepreneur-in-Residence. Earlier in his career, Kaizar led Stitcher’s business development team during the podcast company’s formative years, and was co-founder and President of CALmatters, a statehouse reporting venture in Sacramento.
Kaizar serves on the board of Internews, an NGO that works to strengthen media systems in countries around the world. He lives in New York City with his family.
