As Vice President of Strategic and Financial Planning, Momodou leads Internews’ organization-wide annual and long term operational, financial, and strategic planning and serves to advance the company’s strategic framework and long-term strategic plan.

Momodou was most recently Director of FP&A and Treasury at the MITRE Corporations. He has held numerous senior strategic and financial leadership roles at for profit and non-profit organizations.

He earned a Master of Business Administration with an Economics concentration from The George Washington University. Momodou also earned a B.S. in Economics and B.A. in Political Science from the University of Rhode Island. Momodou is an avid runner and loves to travel. He is very passionate about empowering and driving economic growth within the Africa sub-region.
