Reagan Kirsten is the Vice President for People and Culture, overseeing the global people and human resources functions across Internews. She has spent more than 20 years working in the international non-profit sector with a focus on people and operations, project and risk management, and strategic advising.
Reagan believes in creating people-focused solutions that support organizational excellence and are grounded in equality, respect and compassion. She is passionate about providing strong duty of care programs and support for staff working in challenging environments and has acted as a trainer on human resources issues and processes as well as creating safe and comfortable work environments in multiple countries.
Reagan holds a M.S. in Organizational Leadership with a focus on Strategic Communication from the University of Colorado-Boulder and a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies from Humboldt State University. She is certified in human resources management by HRCI as a Professional of Human Resources (PHR) and by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM-CP).
