This report comprises one of the most comprehensive analyses to date of current legislation that regulates LGBTQ content and expression online in Malaysia. Over the course of three months, Pelangi campaign conduceted exhaustive reviews of national and local legal precedents, interviews with key stakeholders, and analyses of how laws have been implemented in practice. The report serves as part of a wider campaign to highlight the LGBTQ experience online and incorporate it into broader conversations of their human rights generally within the country.
