The Azattyk team’s data story on the topic of child labor ran into some confusion between the terms “child labor” and “children who help out around the house.” After a significant amount of research, they concluded that both situations contribute to the problem: the more time a teenager spends doing chores or earning money – the worse his or her grades are at school.
