Speaking to the importance of independent media and free expression, Internews President and CEO Jeanne Bourgault testified today before the Subcommittee on State and Foreign Operations of the US House Committee on Appropriations.

Bourgault called on the committee to continue to invest in democracy, human rights, and governance programs.
